DIY: Jeans To Shorts!

Hey guys! I'm back with my very first DIY post. I'm so excited to share this! Basically, I'll show you how you can turn your old jeans to shorts. Here we go! (Photo spam ahead)

Materials:

Scissors and pencil
Sandpaper or nail file
Studs (Optional)

Steps:

First, find the jeans you'll work with.
Measure your desired length.
And then, cut.
If you want to distress your shorts, rub the sandpaper on the cutted area.
Your shorts should look like this.
If you want to put studs, position them wherever you want. I positioned mine below pockets since I want to keep it simple.
Then, mark the spots where you will place the studs.
I recommend to get the push-through kind of studs because it will be easier to put in.

This is how it would look like with studs.
This is optional to put holes on it, but personally I prefer it with. To put holes, just rub the sandpaper repeatedly until they start to show.
Cut it to make a horizontal hole, them rub it with sandpaper for that distressed look. Repeat until your're satisfied.  From this point, expect some lint scattering your work area and clothes.
For that general worn out look on you shorts, just rub the sandpaper all over it including the back part.
And voila! You're finished. You now have your own DIY shorts!

Hope you guys liked it! Bye, see you next week! :)
